Beginner's Guide to CNC Machine Tools

Basic operation tutorial and steps of CNC machine tool:

1. Familiar with the operation panel of CNC lathe. Be familiar with the function and position of each control button.

2. After starting, let the CNC machine return to the original point. (Press the Home button on the control panel, and then press the Start button to start).

3. Put the processing workpiece on the workbench. (Small workpieces can be stuck with glue, while large workpieces need to be fixed with pressing plates. The bottom of workpieces should be flat).

4. Then set the coordinate system. The coordinate system refers to the coordinate position of the workpiece to be processed. For general workpiece processing, in the middle of four sides, touch the periphery of the tool around the workpiece to set the workpiece coordinate, and then input the coordinate value into the control panel.

5. Next is the Z-axis tool setting. Select the appropriate processing tool, and use the tool bar to set the tool on the workbench, such as the tool setting on the top of the workpiece. You need to set the relative height value. After reading the value, input the Z-axis value into the control panel.

6. Finally, call in the processing program, set the processing speed, and then the processing can be carried out.
